the gratitude diaries

I have pondered how to express my reaction to a book I recently read. I thought I could write that it is the best book I’ve ever read…but I’ve said that before. Then I thought maybe to say it is the happiest book I’ve ever read…but the term that seems to stand out to me the most (so far), is to say, I think this is the most rewarding book I’ve ever read.

The title of the book pretty much describes what I am trying to say. It’s called “The Gratitude Diaries – How a Year Looking on the Bright Side Can Transform Your Life”. The Author, Janice Kaplan, is a journalist and former Parade Magazine editor in chief.

the power of gratitude

The book is the story of the author’s year of research, interviews, surveys and testimonies on gratitude. She shares how gratitude changed her life, and how it can enhance every aspect of your life. I wish everyone could read and benefit from this book. You can get a copy here: The Gratitude Diaries

  • I ordered this book because of your recommendation. Two-thirds of the way through reading it, I ordered five more to give as gifts! Excellent feel-good book.

    • That is what I did, Karin…I ordered more books to share with others before I finished reading “The Gratitude Diaries” myself! It is definitely a “feel-good” book and anyone who reads it will benefit.
